For the XVII STIC Conference, which will take place in Madrid from November 28 to 30, 2023, the CCN-CERT has organized a new edition of the ATENEA Jornadas competition, an adapted version of our Atenea platform that lasts only one month (from October 4 to November 4). Participants will have to face new and different challenges to qualify for the first positions and get ony of the awards.
This edition is being played by more than 175 registered users, that are trying to obtain answers to cybersecurity challenges posed in areas such as OSINT, traffic analysis, cryptography, forensic analysis, web hacking or reversing.
Nine days before the competition closes, only one of the participants has managed to solve all the proposed challenges. Of the tests that the user must complete to qualify, the OSINT challenge is the one that the largest number of users have managed to solve and the web hacking challenge, the one that is posing the most difficulties for users.
The top three finishers in the ATENEA Jornadas competition will be awarded on November 30 during the closing ceremony of the XVII STIC CCN-CERT Conference. In addition, the CCN-CERT will also reward the first finishers in the Atenea platform competition.
Professionals who wish to participate have until November 3 to complete the challenges published in the competition.
Good luck to all participants, we hope you all enjoy it!
